Senior Engineering Manager - Wet Utilities
About the Role:
Parsons Corporation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager - Wet Utilities to contribute to the groundbreaking NEOM THE LINE project. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of complex wet utility systems, including water supply, wastewater, stormwater, and irrigation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects and delivering innovative, sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and oversight for all wet utility engineering activities, ensuring adherence to industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
Lead the development of innovative wet utility solutions, considering factors such as water conservation, energy efficiency, and resilience.
Oversee the design, review, and approval of engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Project Management:
Manage the wet utilities engineering team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, construction teams, and client representatives to ensure seamless integration of wet utility systems.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Quality Assurance:
Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Conduct regular quality audits and reviews to identify and address potential issues.
Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the wet utilities engineering team.
Client Relations:
Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Represent Parsons at project meetings and presentations, demonstrating technical expertise and leadership skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 22 years of experience in wet utilities engineering, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
In-depth knowledge of relevant design standards, codes, and regulations, including AWWA, ASCE, and local codes.
Experience with hydraulic modeling software and other advanced engineering tools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment
