Job Description:
Parsons Corporation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager - Electrical Engineering to contribute to the groundbreaking NEOM THE LINE project. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of complex electrical systems, a proven track record in project management, and a passion for innovative, sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and oversight for all electrical engineering activities, ensuring adherence to industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
Lead the development of innovative electrical solutions, including power distribution, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, and other critical electrical infrastructure.
Oversee the design, review, and approval of electrical engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Project Management:
Manage the electrical engineering team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, construction teams, and client representatives to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Quality Assurance:
Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Conduct regular quality audits and reviews to identify and address potential issues.
Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the electrical engineering team.
Client Relations:
Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Represent Parsons at project meetings and presentations, demonstrating technical expertise and leadership skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 22 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
In-depth knowledge of electrical design standards, codes, and regulations, including NEC, IEC, and local codes.
Experience with BIM and other advanced engineering tools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
