Senior Engineering Manager
About the Role:
Parsons Corporation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to contribute to the groundbreaking NEOM THE LINE project. This pivotal role requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple engineering disciplines, strong leadership skills, and a passion for innovative, sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and oversight for a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring adherence to industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
Collaborate with various engineering disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of systems and components.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Project Management:
Manage the engineering team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
Coordinate with other project stakeholders, including construction teams, client representatives, and subcontractors.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Quality Assurance:
Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Conduct regular quality audits and reviews to identify and address potential issues.
Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Client Relations:
Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Represent Parsons at project meetings and presentations, demonstrating technical expertise and leadership skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 20 years of experience in engineering, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
In-depth knowledge of relevant design standards, codes, and regulations.
Experience with BIM and other advanced engineering tools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
