Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Engineer - Water to join our team in NEOM. Parsons is providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the development of NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.

What You'll Be Doing:
Support the Project Manager in coordinating with regional offices across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to collect essential data for reporting and decision-making.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of weekly and monthly project updates for submission to the Project Manager and the client’s senior management.
Conduct frequent site visits to assess project progress and compliance with standards, preparing comprehensive visit reports as required.
Analyze project progress, identify risks and issues, and recommend practical solutions to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all project-related data, ensuring proper documentation and regular updates.
Review project documents to ensure adherence to management tools, frameworks, and established procedures.
Assist in organizing and participating in meetings with consultants and contractors at the head office or regional sites to address project challenges and progress.
Develop and deliver presentations for senior client management, summarizing project progress, challenges, and recommendations.
Assist the Project Manager in preparing and reviewing budgets for upcoming projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and financial guidelines.
Contribute to training sessions for project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors, focusing on professional management tools and practices to enhance team capabilities.
Support the Project Manager in conducting audits to verify the implementation of quality standards and document compliance across project activities.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline is required.
Fluency in both written and spoken Arabic and English is preferred. Candidates without Arabic fluency must have substantial experience working in Saudi Arabia as a consultant for governmental departments.
PMP certification is highly desirable.
Strong report writing and presentation skills, with experience in using professional project management tools.
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in project management, supervision, and planning, specifically within the water and wastewater sectors.
At least 3 of the last 5 years should have been with a reputable international consultancy firm.
