Job Description:

Parsons is now hiring a Senior Project Manager who can lead a team of professionals overseeing every phase of water, wastewater and water resources projects or programs in the Bay Area. Parsons' extensive experience in this field, combined with your significant management and technical experience, will propel your career forward with opportunity for advancement with top performance.
Responsibilities will include business development, project, program, and/or construction management. You will play a major role in the strategic growth initiatives for water, wastewater, and water resources, as well you may support major client accounts at a national level. We need our Senior Project Manager to be versatile as well as have exceptional communication, analytical and management skills.
Responsibilities:
Acts as the Company representative with clients and selected subcontractors during project and program execution.
Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the clients and key subcontractors. Serve as capture manager and track, market and secure additional work opportunities with clients and collaborate with other Parsons Business Development staff to expand delivery of services to existing and new clients.
Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with multiple projects.
Participates in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.
Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
For assigned project or programs, stablishes the requirements for all areas of projects and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
Working with assigned PMs, provides direction and management for every phase of significant projects or programs to assure on schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations, as well as client satisfaction.
Mobilizes company resources, through liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.
Works with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of projects and programs.
Promotes technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes.
Establishes weekly meeting to review status and formulate action items for portfolio of projects.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field)
15+ years of related work experience, including supervisory/managerial experience
Significant managerial experience of a large group of Engineers, Designers, and technical support personnel
Professional Engineer with active membership in a professional engineering society is required
Proven capability to successfully win competitive proposals
Proven capability to be a successful seller-doer with various governmental agencies and entities
Experience with operations management of personnel and facilities is preferred.
Thorough knowledge of Texas industry practices and regulations are required
Proven results tackling difficult challenges and delivering results in senior leadership positions.
Must have demonstrable expertise in the delivery of major water, wastewater, and stormwater system improvement projects, supervising hydraulic calculations and analysis, evaluation of conveyance/distribution systems, treatment facilities, conducting feasibility studies and engineering design for regional and local entities.
Experience in working with regional and local entities in the design of major water and wastewater facilities and systems.

Salary Range:
$121,900.00 - $219,400.00
