Work Location: Hybrid (3 days a week in San Jose office)
Work Schedule: Normal PST business hours, Monday - Friday
Pay Range: $62.22-$78.45 Per Hr
Project Overview:
The Chrome OS Operations team is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Program Manager to oversee our inventory management programs. You will ensure that engineers, dogfooders, and test labs have the necessary hardware and test equipment, while also monitoring inventory levels to anticipate shortages. Additionally, you'll collaborate with the Warehouse Program Manager to ensure inventory processes fit within space requirements and work with Regional Program Managers to implement best practices globally.
Overall Responsibilities:
Identify gaps in inventory management processes, standardize procedures, and implement changes (e.g., disposition and returns processes).
Communicate process changes from our team or business partners to stakeholders.
Manage hardware and accessory forecasting across various programs (engineering, dogfood, lab, burnout stock needs) and ensure optimal usage of inventory.
Oversee hardware allocation processes, ensuring that all ChromeOS teams (engineering, dogfood, lab, Go-To-Market) receive the necessary hardware.
Monitor demand, analyze data to predict future inventory needs, and identify trends and opportunities to minimize inventory and costs.
Manage approval processes for inventory exceptions.
Ensure proper disposal of confidential hardware in all locations.
Develop clear, easy-to-understand documentation for detailed program processes.
Oversee vendor service level objectives related to day-to-day operations (e.g., cycle counts, inventory receiving, disposition).
Collaborate with the Tool teams to improve tools based on program process requirements and automate data collection.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
Identify gaps in inventory management processes, standardize procedures, and implement changes (e.g., disposition and returns processes).
Manage hardware and accessory forecasting across programs (engineering, dogfood, lab, burnout stock needs) and ensure optimal inventory usage.

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in Program Management on cross-functional projects.
Experience or familiarity with software development.
Experience or familiarity with Operations or Supply Chain.
Experience and familiarity with Google Apps.
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, comfortable interacting with both technical and non-technical groups at all organizational levels.
Proactive nature, with the ability to react quickly to urgent situations.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong spreadsheet and database capabilities.

Pay Details: $62.00 to $78.00 per hour
