SUMMARY
Installs and repairs telecommunications lines and fiber optic cables.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Identifies users' needs and requirements and mobilizes existing technology to meet client criteria.
Manages, supervises, and provides technical advice on telecommunications systems.
Sets up and maintains equipment that carries communication signals.
Installs, maintains, and services a variety of telephone equipment.
Installs voice and data communication circuits, security cameras, panic systems, door access, and cabling, as required.
Ensures high-quality installation, maintenance, and operation/performance of telecommunications systems and consults with Fiber Optics Technicians.
Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Four (4) years of related experience required.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience with installation, repair, modification, or termination of telecommunications cabling and equipment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks (U.S. citizenship required).
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Strong troubleshooting abilities with a demonstrated capacity to diagnose and resolve complex telecommunications issues effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of providing clear technical advice and documentation to clients and team members.
High level of accuracy in setting up, maintaining, and servicing telecommunications equipment.
Ability to adapt to different work environments and handle a variety of tasks and challenges associated with telecommunications systems.
WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
TRAVEL
The expected travel time is less than 25%.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS
Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver's license and be insurable on the company's automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 25%.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is primarily performed in a variety of settings, including professional office environments, client facilities, and installation sites. The role may involve working indoors and outdoors, with exposure to various environmental conditions such as noise, vibration, and weather elements. The position requires interaction with a diverse range of individuals in different functions, personalities, and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position consists of seeing up close, sitting for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for handling tools and equipment. Compensation & Benefits Package:
Pay: $55,239.60 - $73,652.80/annually
