SUMMARY
Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical power, communications, lighting, and controls systems, applying comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Interprets manufacturers' manuals or similar instructional documentation.
Applies an understanding of the interrelationships of circuits to determine plans for sequencing work, selecting tools, and testing instruments.
Performs work in compliance with technical guidance and accepted practices.
Inspects and tests equipment and maintains records of all work carried out.
Fixes faulty wiring and components and replaces worn parts as needed.
Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Two (2) years of related experience.
High School diploma or GED required.
Experience performing electrical installation.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks (U.S. citizenship required).
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Ability to perform complex calculations and measurements related to electrical work.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical issues.
Ability to assess and prioritize tasks in complex environments.
Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
Good communication skills for effectively working with team members and supervisors.
WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
TRAVEL
The expected travel time is less than 25%.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS
Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver's license and be insurable on the company's automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 25%.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a maintenance facility / light manufacturing setting in confined areas in and around industrial equipment and support equipment (i.e., compressors, transformers, pumps, etc.) and in areas that are subjected to high temperatures, constant noise, rotating machinery, soot, dirt, grease, chemicals, oil, and fumes. Worker is often exposed to sharp objects and may be exposed some heat, noise, chemicals and to vibration.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position consists of moderate to strenuous physical effort and long periods of walking, standing, climbing, bending, and crouching, kneeling, stooping, reaching, and lifting items weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted and occasionally items weighing over 40 pounds with assistance of other workers or weight handling equipment. Frequent use of hands/fingers for handling items and to work with such hand tools as wrenches, screwdrivers, wire cutters, pliers, and soldering irons. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE
Pay range is $51,573.60 to $68,764.80
