L3Harris Space & Sensors Division is seeking an experienced Contracts Representative. This position must have a demonstrable record of achievement in the contracting career field and will be responsible for managing daily, cradle-to-grave US Government contract management activities on a variety of programs and requirements. This role requires strong interpersonal attributes/skills, including: high ethical standards, strong organizational and communication skills, land be a team player able to live L3Harris values every day - Integrity, Respect, Excellence. The successful candidate must have demonstrated of being the focal point of communications between company and customer. Additionally, successful candidate must have demonstrated the record of being a key member of an integrated program team, supporting the customer, program management, engineering, finance, quality, operations, and supply chain through clear communication of contractual requirements, interpretation, law, regulations, and policies and procedures.
Essential Functions: All aspects of contract management, including but not limited to:
Review, markup and negotiate terms and conditions.
Prepare and negotiate pre-award agreements including non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements.
Prepare proposals including detailed analysis of cost and pricing details, risk, opportunities, and creating unique terms and conditions with cross functional input.
Lead contract negotiations for all scope, cost, terms, and conditions; and contract execution, change management, and contract closeout.
Contract execution, change management, and contract closeout.
Must interact effectively with all levels of internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years related experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
1 year experience with US Government Contracts including cost-reimbursement, T&M, and Firm Fixed Price contracts.
1 year experience skills involving contract type, terms and conditions, and price.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Cognos a plus.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize and close actions before deadlines as required.
Must be proficient in MS toolset.
Demonstrated proficiency in working competitive pursuits.
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with intellectual property and data rights.
K nowledge of U.S. Government regulations including FAR, DFAR, EAR and ITAR.
Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is MIN: $58,500 to MAX: $108,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
