Job Description:
This position provides configuration management support to multiple programs in Palm Bay and Malabar.
Essential Functions:
Research manufacturing data verifying part number details.
Create part numbers within the data management tool following strict engineering formatting.
Understand part, parts list, and drawing revision process.
Understand and structure indented bills of material.
Utilize MRP system to input new projects and activities.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
At least 2 years working knowledge of PC windows environment
At least 1 year experience supporting government and/or Department of Defense Customers.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Familiarity with Configuration Management.
Ability to learn new tools and use them including the Agile Configuration Management Tool and basis office software.
Ability to accurately manage (enter/modify) data and provide reports using tools.
Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
