The IT Sr. Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated high-complexity projects or programs to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within a defined scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction. The position is an entrepreneurial combination of exceptional technology project management knowledge and strong interface skills that must be accomplished.General Responsabilities: Responsible for various technical aspects of projects within the System Development Projects Group. Supports the projects throughout various stages for the timely delivery of projects within budget, and according to business requirements, to deliver successful execution. Define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. Initiate, develop, update, and manage project plans including information such as project objectives, technologies, system specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. Manage project execution stages to ensure adherence to budget, project timeline, and scope; monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Establish and execute a project communication plan. Lead and guide the work of technical staff; serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects, preferably with experience managing Digital Transformation projects. Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable. Education and Experience Required Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Sciences or related. PMP Certification Preferred. At least five (5) years of experience with system development applications and their coordination tasks. Previous experience managing high budgets and long-term projects. Proven experience in digital transformation and process development roles in a Technology, Fintech, Banking, or Manufacturing environment. Knowledge and Skills Required Ability to analyze complex problems. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. Customer service skills are an asset. Analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to prepare effective presentations. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. Proficient in writing and speaking English and Spanish fluently. Additional Information8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
