Network SpecialistOperations & TechnologyFirewall Services Puerto Rico General ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, design and recommend the implementation of network communication structures and equipment according to organizational changes, strategic projects and needs. Perform technical activities suchas: installation and maintenance of software and hardware. Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable. Education and Experience RequiredRequired Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Sciences, or Computer Engineer from a four-year college or university.Related experience on maintenance, reparation and troubleshooting of desktop hardware and software packages.Experience in programming procedures and systems, troubleshoot programming changes and modifications, computer flow charts, programming logic and codes.Experience writing technical instructions for the use of programs and/or program modifications. Knowledge and Skills Required Previous experience in IP routing and switching. Experience in ACL format policies. Experience with FORTINET firewalls. Previous experience in network infrastructure and network security. Cloud Technologies oriented. Problem solving and designed skills. Customer Service oriented. Attention to detail and time management skills.
