Responsibilities
We are seeking a mission-focusedNetwork Administrator to support and contribute to our government customer's success in Washington, DC!
As a Tier 3 NETOPS Administrator, you'll be challenged with hard complex support problems where you will coordinate with other NOC and Operational staff and be asked to lead and perform platform upgrades. You are expected as one of the leaders on the Network team to coordinate ticket acceptance and resolutions. You will develop technical resolution reports for critical outages in the Network.
Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities
Perform System patching and IAVA patches to network routers and switches.
Perform IOS and Software upgrades.
Create/review and publish in KM system Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for network operations.
Troubleshoot systems failures and accessibility problems within the network to our services.
Monitor network performance, track usage and develop capacity planning reports.
Develop and maintain IP Address allocations tables.
Make recommendations that enhance operational efficiencies for network monitoring, management, and overall operations.
Uses experience and knowledge articles to understand/implement potential workarounds.
Updates knowledge articles and handles "how to" questions.
Support KM management by entering solutions into the Solutions database.
Facilitate engineering design data calls.
Lead new/enhanced network implementation, installation, and technical refresh projects within a site or locale.
Gathering in-depth information to conduct thorough analysis and investigation, leveraging creativity and ingenuity to develop innovative technical solutions applicable across the enterprise, with a strong foundation in prior experience.
Preform Network ticket resolution.
Support Network ticket closure across Network OPS staff to include:
Completes initial categorization of Service Requests (type, sub-type, location device, priority, etc.)
Use administrative access to the network to provision new switches, router, VLANs and Krypto.
Uses administrative access to network components to research errors, incidents, problems and to perform incident analysis and identify potential problems.
Routing Service Requests to the appropriate organization required for incident resolution.
Performs root cause analyses.
Completes problem resolutions associated with incident ticket(s).
Configure, deploy, manage, and maintain Network monitoring systems used by the technicians to ensure availability and overall performance of system and services.
Qualifications
Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies
Must possess an active TS/SCI with counterintelligence polygraph clearance or an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a counterintelligence polygraph.
Education required:
High School/GED with 9 years of technical experience.
, Associates + 7 Yrs,years of technical experience.
Bachelors with 5 years of technical experience.
Masters with 3 years of technical experience.
PhD with 1 year of technical experience.
IAT II certification
CONUS travel up to 25%
Work independently while providing leadership to the rest of the Network team.
Full time on-site work in a government or customer facility.
Security Clearance Level
Must possess an active TS/SCI with counterintelligence polygraph clearance or an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a counterintelligence polygraph.
Certifcation

Pay Rate
The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000 - $175,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Criterion Systems considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
