The Opportunity:
Booz Allen is seeking an experienced, innovative senior lead systems
engineer to help our customers transform their mission processing systems to
meet the next generation space and ground architecture requirements. Mission
Processing is changing as space architectures transform from small numbers of
highly complex satellites to large, integrated and proliferated
architectures. These architectures require new ways of transforming customer
needs into mission value through compact on-orbit satellite processors and
highly flexible ground processing systems. Automation, artificial
intelligence and machine learning, hybrid cloud, and edge computing
approaches will all play a role in meeting the future mission processing
challenge. Booz Allen needs your experience and expertise to support our

engineers, software developers, and Subject Matter Experts to define and
model candidate system architectures, conduct trade studies, and identify
gaps and risks that must be addressed to successfully develop future mission
processing systems. You will engage with clients and industry partners to keep
the team informed about the development of future space architectures and
signal processing systems, and take a key role in developing white papers,
demonstrations, and proposals for next-generation mission processing systems
to continue expanding our business and mission impact. As our business
