Job Description:
Parsons is currently seeking a talented and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team to provide direct support to a classified Air Force program. As a Systems Engineer, you will help lead all System Engineering activities for a program of record (POR) contract with multiple sites, hardware/software systems, and an engaged user community and program management office (PMO). You will be at the forefront of shaping future system design, site interconnection, and sustainment of capabilities. The Systems Engineer will work with the Technical Director, Systems Engineering team, and Infrastructure team through strong interpersonal skills and technical acumen.
What You'll Be Doing:
Participate in all aspects of Systems Engineering throughout the full program lifecycle (concept definition, design, test, and release)
Create architectural diagrams, models, and documentation in accordance with DODAF to communicate system designs effectively
Apply DODAF viewpoints and views to capture and communicate system architecture
Ensure compliance with DODAF standards and guidelines throughout the system development lifecycle
Leads change control board (CCB) and is the control gate for all change management documentation, processes, and adherence to rollout/release processes across multiple geographically dispersed sites
Analyzes engineering processes and institute improvements
Maintains documentation of designs and participates in design review activities as needed
Communicates across program, internal, and external (PMO and customer) stakeholders
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Strong expertise in system design, system integration, and architecture patterns
Mastery of Microsoft Visio with linking data with shapes and models
Experience with DoD IT system and network certification and accreditation processes (i.e., the NIST SP 800-53 Risk Management Framework [RMF]), to include interim authorization to test (IATT), authority to operate (ATO), and authority to connect (ATCs)
Experience with Agile development practices (e.g., Scaled Agile Framework [SAFe])
Strong attention to detail skills and excellent organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
Must have 8+ years of relevant professional experience
Proof of US Citizenship is required
Knowledge of SIGINT, Electronic Warfare (EW), Digital Signals Processing (DSP), Radio Frequency (RF), and Space Systems Engineering
Experience and knowledge of the Cyber domain: offensive/defensive cyber, pentesting, computer networking, cyber tool development (access/implant/effects)
Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
Experience with Kubernetes orchestration technology
Experience with Linux container technologies (Docker, Podman, LXC, or equivalent)
Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methods
Must have active TS/SCI

Salary Range:
$140,700.00 - $253,300.00
