Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM/ CAD Specialist to join our Urban Planning team. In this role you will get to play a crucial role in translating urban planning concepts into detailed and accurate digital representations.
What You'll Be Doing:
Collaborate with urban planners and architects to develop detailed Building Information Models (BIM) and layouts for urban planning projects.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of authority approvals relevant to urban planning, such as DM, DDA, etc.
Create base maps, including sign-off sheets, plot development guidelines, and land use plans, by digitizing and organizing collected data.
Possess understanding of land use schedules.
Utilize software like AutoCAD to create and manage layouts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. (Candidates with experience in MicroStation and Civil 3D will be preferred)
Provide understanding in BIM workflows, standards, and best practices to optimize the efficiency of the urban planning design process.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments to the Layouts / BIM models.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline .
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a BIM / CAD role within the Urban Planning or Architecture field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. (Preference: MicroStation and Civil3D)
Understanding of BIM principles, workflows, and standards.
