L3Harris Space Superiority group has an opening for a Senior Systems Integration & Test Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Colorado Springs, CO. The individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting.
This position will support the test effort for development of multiple ground-based mission systems and operations center from program inception to test verification and deployment. The Specialist Integration & Test Engineer will define complex test strategies to verify mission capabilities while working with a team comprised of multiple internal organizations and subcontractors for the full integration and test of the mission system. The test engineer will be a point-of-contact for the government customer for test planning and will coordinate across government and stakeholder offices to define the test and evaluation plan.
Essential Functions:
Professional with strong knowledge of job area
Implement strategic goals established by project leadership
Strong communication skills with internal team, customers, and vendors
System Integration and Test engineer responsible for the assembly, integration, and testing of System Under Test (SUT) software and hardware components
Execute all levels of testing (Integration, System and Acceptance)
Configure and maintain production-like test environments
I&T support overseeing subcontractors
System Level I&T for developed control processing
Testing and troubleshooting issues
Documenting issues into bug tracking tool
Develop test plans, test cases, and testing scripts for manual and automated testing, maintain testing records, document and report discovered problems
Experience with
MagicDraw/MBSE
EggPlant
Experience in Agile & DevOps methodology and culture
Proficient at JIRA/Confluence (or equivalent)
Advocate for test priorities in daily scrum meetings and sprint planning
Clear and concise documentation of software issues
Collaborate closely with the SW development team
Analyze user stories/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
Lead test development and peer review activities with little supervision. Ensure complete and accurate test coverage. Create test to requirement traceability matrix.
Attend and participate in project planning and execution meetings as required
Ability to travel up to 15%
Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance but ability to attain a Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hire
Preferred Additional Skills:
Familiarity with all phases of the software test life cycle
Must be able to handle multiple processes while testing cases and develop plan "fixes"
Able to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $62,000 - $102,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including relocation stipend, 401(k), EAP, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
