Responsibilities You will design, develop, validate, adapt, and maintain mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods, techniques, and models. You will analyze logistics management policy and procedures and management methods and practices currently in place to support ship system design, development, and acquisition decisions. You will research to develop technical understanding/competence of both the operational and application features of assigned systems and associated logistical support methods, processes, and practices. You will create automated data repositories and work with project managers and IT specialists to pull required data and create tools to facilitate analyses. You will determine adequacy of data gathered and analyze and extrapolate, as necessary, from experimental, historical, and other data sources for comparative analysis and validation.
