The Center for Language Education (CLE) at Johns Hopkins University invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE for the 2025 Academic Year. The position is renewable based on performance and enrollment.
The successful candidate's responsibilities include teaching 12 contact hours per week at the beginning and intermediate levels of ASL. IN-PERSON INSTRUCTION ONLY.
Minimum qualifications include:
M.A. in ASL or Teaching ASL (or a closely related field)
Previous teaching at the university level, experience working in the Deaf community, and/or certification
Strong computer literacy
Must currently be eligible to be employed in the U.S.
