Job Requirements:
The Reconnaissance Mission Systems Business is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to support the financial management, review, and estimating of assigned programs. This role will partner with program management teams to analyze and understand their financial position. The analyst will prepare monthly customer financial reports, verify actual cost reporting, provide variance analysis, and support monthly closing activities.
Responsibilities:
Project controls analyst responsible for set up and activation of assigned projects, service orders and production work order support in ERP system.
Monitor and analyze program costs, perform financial analysis for labor, material, subcontract and ODC estimates against budget and forecast.
Prepare Estimates at Completion (EAC) for direct charge programs by working with cross functional IPT.
Provide inputs for the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and cash forecasting process.
Perform variance analysis to forecasted results (EAC, Sales, Profit and Cash), identifying specific drivers of deviations from estimates.
Review weekly labor/material charges and perform necessary cost transfers.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires strong knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline. May have broad knowledge of project management. Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Demonstrated strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
Experience in the Defense Industry.
Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, etc) in program development and execution.
Experience supporting contractual EVMS programs.
Experience with multiple contract types (CP/FP/T&M).
Preferred Skills (beyond required):
Active DoD Secret security clearance.
Ability to communicate effectively with peers, leadership, and other functions.
Experience working independently and with higher levels of management.
Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment.
