Job Requirements:
The RC-135 Business Area is seeking an Sr Spec with proven ability to drive process improvements, establish clear financial cadence, lead a team, and create strong partnerships with program managers and key functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Essential Responsibilities:
Create strong partnerships with Program Managers and other key stakeholders.
Manage a team of direct reports.
Provide leadership and mentorship to finance professionals.
Assess and quantify business risks and opportunities associated with orders, sales, profit, and case.
Support development of Strategic and Annual Operating Plan
Ensure Business financial goals are met.
Interface with all levels of the organization
Address staffing needs.
Support customer deliverables.
Performing analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
Ensure alignment of Program Excellence strategy, processes, and tools across the sector
Interface cross functionally with Program Managers, Schedulers, Program Finance, and other key stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field with six (6) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
Must have prior Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
Must have previous Program Controls experience.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
Preferred Skills (beyond required):
Demonstrated ability to partner with PMs and functional leaders.
Experience interfacing with and presenting to executive leadership.
Ability to create executive level briefings.
Ability to work in a fast pace and challenging environment.
Prior proven leadership experience
Experience being a change agent.
