Job Description - CNC Programmer
We are seeking a CNC Programmer to join our team! In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineers and shop personnel to optimize aerospace machining processes. This position is located at our manufacturing facility in Colchester, CT.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Program complex aerospace components (experience with CAD models and probing preferred)
Process a variety of materials, including aluminum, magnesium, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium
Determine the processes and tools required to meet product specifications and business objectives
Read and interpret blueprints, geometric tolerances, and symbols to comply with military and commercial specifications
Troubleshoot and optimize existing programs
Qualifications:
Proficient with Mastercam and Vericut, experienced in programming 3, 4, and 5-axis machines
Ability to program from drawings and operation process sheets
Highly organized, able to maintain programming software, revisions, post processors, and program files & tool lists
Punctual, reliable, and willing to work overtime as needed to meet customer demands
Strong interpersonal skills, able to work both independently and collaboratively
Education Required:
3-5 years of practical experience or equivalent education (willing to train individuals with prior shop experience and a desire to learn)
Compensation: We offer a generous compensation package that includes health, dental, 401(k) plan, vacation, and life insurance.
Hours: First Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Thursday, with overtime available on Friday as needed.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour
