Description
We are seeking a Requisitioner Specialist to join our team based in Farmington, Connecticut. This role operates within the industry and involves liaising with vendors to obtain quotes for new buys or calibrations on test equipment. This position is an on-site role and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Key responsibilities:
Contacting vendors to secure quotes for new purchases or equipment calibrations
Processing vendor quotes into purchase requisitions
Creating shipping documents to facilitate the movement of test equipment
Handling physical test equipment and coordinating its movements
Utilizing computer skills for efficient operation, knowledge of SAP is advantageous but not mandatory
Leveraging logistics experience to ensure smooth operation, although not mandatory
Ensuring compliance with regulations in all operations
Managing authorizations for various processes
Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and interactions
Resolving any arising issues or inquiries related to equipment calibration and test equipment.
Requirements
Strong proficiency in 'About Time', 'Logistics', 'Shipping Functions', and 'Vendors' is essential.
Knowledge of 'Regulation', 'Financial Notes', 'Authorizations', and 'Computer Skills' is required.
Ability to work with 'R Code', 'Contacting', 'Maps API', and 'A Plus' is crucial.
Flexibility to work 'Overtime' and travel 'Internationally' as needed.
Experience or familiarity with 'ST Microcontoller', 'Federal Government', 'Security Clearance', 'Equipment Calibration', 'FLSA', 'Test Equipment', 'Competitive Bid', 'Letterhead', and 'NIS' is desirable.
Proficiency in 'Metrology' and 'SAP S/4HANA' is a plus.
Ability to maintain communication with various stakeholders.
Must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
Must be able to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
Proven track record of reliability and responsibility.
Must possess a strong work ethic and high level of integrity.
