This may be the role you are looking for! Amentum is seeking a new Logistics Analyst to join our Groton, CT team. The opportunity for partial telework is available.
The primary focus of the position is the provisioning of non-propulsion electrical systems, contributing to the modernization efforts of Navy Submarines. The role involves the acquisition of data from OEMs and the accurate input of this information into various databases, including NSDER, NAVSUP, OneTouch, WEBFlis, and ICAPS.
The candidate will be responsible for regular reporting and must possess the foresight to anticipate and mitigate any potential issues in provisioning deliverables. This requires exceptional proficiency in both written and verbal communication, as well as a thorough mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite. This position offers a dynamic work environment and the chance to contribute significantly to critical defense initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
Mastering the role and processes of Naval Provisioning IAW in accordance with relevant technical specifications.
Engaging in daily interactions with both internal and external stakeholders to Amentum and our primary clients.
Generating and managing status reports, emphasizing adherence to long-term deliverable milestones.
Collaborating with the logistics team to perform troubleshooting, research, and resolution upon identification of mismatch discrepancies within various databases.
Performing data entry tasks across the aforementioned platforms, such as ONETOUCH and ICAPS.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have an active Secret US Government security clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret US Government clearance
High School Diploma and two (2) to five (5) years recent and relevant experience supporting in a Department of Defense logistics role
Preferred Qualifications:
Mid-Level Navy or US Coast Guard combat systems logistics provisioning experience
Experience working to US Navy Technical Specification 9090-310 and the Navy Modernization Process Management and Operations Manual
