Adecco is currently assisting an established automotive dealership group seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Administrator - Benefits and Employee Relations to join their team in Pearl River, NY . This starts as a temp-to-hire position, but can turn permanent for the right candidate fast! This role requires expertise in the ADP platform and a commitment to fostering positive employee relations while ensuring adherence to labor laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance within a unionized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration
Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries.
Manage relationships with benefits vendors and brokers.
Compliance and Reporting
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws.
Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary reports for compliance, audits, and senior management review.
Employee Relations
Develop and maintain positive employee relations strategies for both union and non-union staff, fostering open communication and engagement.
Address and resolve employee issues, grievances, and disputes in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
Proven HR experience, specifically in benefits administration and employee relations within a unionized environment.
Proficient in ADP Workforce Now and knowledgeable in labor laws, benefits regulations, and compliance requirements.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Benefits:
Competitive salary of $70,000 - $80,000 yearly.

Pay Details: $36.00 to $38.00 per hour
