Job Description:
The NetSim Specialist Systems Engineer will assist in the test procedures and analysis. This individual will use analytical skills to analyze test results. They will also use troubleshooting skills to diagnose hardware issues with the network simulation system and prepare it for testing. The candidate will work with senior hardware engineers to learn the inner workings of the NetSim hardware. The ASE will need interpersonal and communication skills to work with the larger test and hardware teams.
Essential Functions:
Work with the test team to program, setup and run network testing
Work with test team to analyze and process test results
The ability to learn from senior hardware engineers the inner workings of the hardware
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues
Must be able to obtain a US security clearance
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with RF communications hardware or test equipment
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $74.000 - $138,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
