Type: Contract with opportunity for extension or full-time offer
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Shift/Hours: Varying shifts between 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
Dress: Scrubs
Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:
Use technology and office resource tools efficiently, accurately and effectively to perform the job.
Rooming patients and checking vital signs
Assist in reviewing patient's records for any gaps in care related to measurable goals and appropriate patient care.
Perform outreach to patients according to team specific guidelines (i.e. calling a patient to close gaps in care).
Schedule follow up appointments with Jordan resource as requested by clinician, team member, patient, or manager.
Use technology and office resource tools efficiently, accurately and effectively to perform the job.
Assist with daily operational duties such as but not limited to: opening and closing clinical area, fire safety procedures, calling housekeeping/maintenance, etc.
Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:
High School Diploma or GED
Certified Medical Assistant
CPR/BLS certification
Infection Control Certificate or willing to take 4 hour online class
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
