Position Summary:
To assist in achievement of the company's strategic objective and annual goals through the delivery of exceptional service and support reflective of (the Company) vision, mission, purpose, and values.
Responsibilities:
· Function as the point of contact between the CEO and employees and external clients.
· Provide administrative support by receiving and screening telephone inquiries and visitors, responding to routine questions and providing information, typing, sorting, filing documents, copying, scanning and/or faxing documents, assisting with completion of routine forms, opening and distributing mail and preparing outgoing mail.
· Provide meeting support by attending various inter-departmental committees and preparing various correspondence by typing, scanning, faxing, and mailing various documents.
· Review and summarize miscellaneous reports and documents.
· Receive and screen communications to the CEO including telephone calls and e-mail messages and provide assistance using independent judgment to determine those requiring priority attention; prioritize and facilitate communication from department heads to the CEO.
· Make travel arrangements for the CEO as needed.
· Assist the CEO with administrative support that drives the organization forward.
· Manage the list of company initiatives to ensure the CEO has information required to effectively lead the company.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Minimum high school diploma/GED required and 3+ years of administrative support experience with increasing responsibility required.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization as well as externally to the public.
· Minimum typing speed of 40 net words per minute preferred.
· Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deadlines.
· Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and expert knowledge of grammar, punctuation and editing.
· Meticulous attention to detail, self-motivated, and maintains confidentiality.
· Proactive and capable of working as a member of a team, as well as independently.
· Must have the ability to multitask in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
Physical Requirements:
· Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers (80% of the time).
· Regularly communicate verbal and written messages with others.
· Frequently bend to file and maintain files.
· Occasionally lift 5-10 pounds.
· Have good visual acuity.
Position Specific Standards:
· Maintain confidentiality on all private, sensitive, and proprietary business issues and concerns.
· Willing to continue training for personal growth.
Pay Details: $27.00 per hour
