Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Research Consultant with experience in researching, documenting and presenting various subjects, understanding the fundamentals of feasibility studies, economic models, benchmarking, forecasting models and the ability to effectively document these findings and present to senior executives. .
What You'll Be Doing:
Understand the requirements, principles and strategies Refor the development of commercial, residential and industrial assets and real estate.
Effectively research a subject matter using economic and business knowledge and experience.
Filter through large amounts of information and identify and extract the relevant data for the specific assignment, and present these in economic briefs, reports and presentations
Research potential competitors in order to identify new opportunities, create benchmarks and support the city’s strategy.
Conduct demographic and socioeconomic analysis.
Analyse data in order to identify current and future trends and provide strategic insights to support business decision-making.
Utilise methodologies and tailor these to develop business cases, assess the feasibility of projects and initiatives, and evaluate their economic impact.
Provide quantitative analysis to provide strategic recommendations and support infrastructure planning.
Review financial and economic data to support financial and economic analysis.
Effectively present their findings in a concise and professional manner to executive management.
Keep abreast of market trends and news to provide reports and intelligence as requested by senior management.
Attend conferences, meetings and industry events to promote JCPDI and understand the real estate and industrial landscape in Saudi Arabia as well as the Middle East.
The successful applicant will be based in the JCPDI but will be required to travel both within and outside of the Kingdom.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
A recognized Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, MBA/Master’s degree preferable.
Minimum 10 years of experience as a consultant preferably in a recognized international consulting institution.
Ability to grasp concepts and economic strategies.
Proven track record of researching projects, benchmarking, understanding market dynamics, analysing business strategies.
Demonstrable experience in analyzing companies, markets and market trends
Proven experience in utilizing economic appraisal methods to evaluate projects, develop business cases, produce feasibility studies and economic impact assessments.
A broad understanding of the economic drivers of infrastructure and role in economic growth and development.
Very strong financial and business acumen in order to understand and analyze supply demand dynamics, feasibility studies and forecasting models.
Strong ability to identify competitors, benchmarks, market gap analysis through effective research and financial and business knowledge.
Knowledge of Saudi Government organizations and current Kingdom level initiatives and policy is preferred but not required.
Able to work under minimal supervision, with initiative and proactiveness.
Excellent English and communication skills.
Exceptional Proficiency (Advanced) in Microsoft Office software, especially Advanced Excel and Power Point.
