PROGRAM MANAGER (USSOCOM):
Bowhead seeks a Program Manager III - Technical to supportUnited States Special Operations Command(USSOCOM), which has a requirement for Enterprise Development, Application and Training located in Tampa, Flordia. The Program Manager will provide enterprise-wide information technology (IT) services and distribution to USSOCOM and its' respective Components and Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs) through a modern, flexible, scalable, performance-based service management and delivery framework. The Enterprise Development, Application and Training service delivery environment is comprised of a series of interconnected IT systems whose purpose is the integration of information, applications and processes throughout USSOCOM's global operations as well as across Department of Defense (DoD) organizational boundaries.
Responsibilities
Responsible for managing complex TECHNICAL programs to include P&L responsibility.
Manage fixed price contracts.
Oversee program budget and schedules.
Responsible for program growth; may be responsible for marketing new technology or follow-on business acquisition.
Responsible for business development within current customer base and/or for new customers.
May be responsible for programs of a lesser dollar value if they are more complex or developmental in nature.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree in relevant field.
Eight (8+) years experience managing a technical program.
PMP or equivalent is required.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret level; preferred to have Top Secret SCI. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
