Position: Logistics Analyst (FRC Southwest Support)
Overview: This position supports tasking for the PMA-265 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Integrated Product Team, APML, and supports FRCSW FMS TACAIR Team located in San Diego, CA. The successful candidate will perform duties in support of the the Australian F/A-18 program.
Responsibilities:
Provide Monthly Technical Data Reports to the Assistant Deputy Assistant Program Managers for Logistics in support of the Australian F/A-18 program
Provides support to the Logistics Element Manager in reviewing of OEM sustainment and acquisition contracts in support of the Australian F/A-18 program
Source Data research, tracking, and reporting. It requires an excellent knowledge and use of the excel spreadsheet. The various types of source data involves managing the Australian FDRL (Foreign Distribution Requirements List of over 700 publications) for new updates
Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, or acquisition information
Responsibilities include tracking USN Technical Directives, Provides weekly Technical Directive summaries, Interim Rapid Action Changes, and Technical Publication Deficiency Reports
Tracks FDRL related IRACs (Interim Rapid Action Changes), and submitting TPDRs (Technical Publication Deficiency Reports) into the JDRS (Joint Discrepancy Reporting System) when received from the customers, and supplying consistent feedback.
Develops, modifies, prepares or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems and management information systems
Attends meetings, conferences, briefings and other significant support activities and events occurring in CONUS or other country
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
BS or BA degree
Must posses and maintain a Secret Clearance
At least six (6) years of experience in operational logistics support/maintenance engineering or Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML)
Allowable Substitution; an additional five (5) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree
Three (3) years of recent experience in acquisition logistics/maintenance engineering
Experience or education demonstrating ability to perform ILS studies, analysis, and evaluations in support of DoD weapons systems/equipment
Ability to travel up to 15 percent
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience or education demonstrating ability to perform ILS studies, analysis, and evaluations in support of DoD weapons systems/equipment
General knowledge of analysis and planning experience in, and specific knowledge of, NAVAIR FMS and Defense Security Assistance Programs
Ability to speak in public to Government customers regarding general product updates
Excellent MS Excel skills

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, ITC Defense is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $70,000.00 - $90,000.00.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
