Responsibilities DO-0343-01 - Position duties include but are not limited to: Responsible for performing in-depth research using classified and open-source databases to profile known and unknown risks to AFRL/AFOSR assets. Conducts risk-based security review assessments, examines aggregated intelligence/counterintelligence data, and presents risk review findings to appropriate AFRL/AFOSR personnel to aid in risk-informed decision-making by Directorate leadership and science and technology (S&T) subject-matter experts (SMEs). Increases all-source research/analytics skills through formalized training and engages with AFRL Enterprise RISC Analysts to ensure consistent and holistic risk review capabilities. Liaises with S&T Protection functions leads to developing and implementing countermeasures for the protection of the AFRL/AFOSR portfolios from espionage, terrorism, intellectual property theft, and other identified threats to National Security. Develops metrics based on aggregated data to provide leadership based on risk identification across the portfolios. Provides and develops threat awareness training and education to the Directorate. Serves as Data Manager. Responsible for maintaining, updating, and retrieving RISC assessments for AFOSR. Serves as Unit Safety Manager.
