Insight Global is seeking a qualified Data Architect to support one of our large federal clients supporting work at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. In order to be proficient in the role, effective data management is crucial for organizational transformation. Properly collecting, storing, and organizing data can drive more efficient operations and foster growth. We are seeking a creative and analytical Data Architect to join our team and help manage data assets for Air Combat Command (ACC), the U.S. Air Forces operational air force. ACC provides combat air, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities for global air, space, and cyberspace operations. As a Data Architect, you will leverage your technical expertise to design and implement robust, scalable data architecture solutions. Your work will empower data scientists and analysts to maximize the value of massive ISR datasets, supporting critical intelligence gathering and analysis activities.
Design and Implementation: Develop and implement data architecture solutions that meet the needs of ACCs ISR capabilities.
Team Leadership: Guide your team in designing, defining, developing, and testing cloud solution components.
Client Liaison: Act as a bridge between clients and developers to ensure requirements are met and solutions are delivered effectively.
Innovation and Process Improvement: Drive technological innovation and establish processes that enhance ACCs ability to deliver airpower and conduct offensive air operations.
Impact: Your contributions will have a lasting impact on how ACC delivers airpower for national defense and supports our allies. By leading technological advancements and establishing efficient processes, you will play a key role in enhancing ACCs operational capabilities.
Compensation: $120k to $200k per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in a computer Science or Information Technology field or 7+ years of experience as a data architect in lieu of a degree
Data Architecture & Big Data Processing: Designing and implementing data architectures for advanced analytics applications.
Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and GCP.
Collaboration with Data Scientists: Translating data needs into actionable solutions.
Data Modeling & ETL/ELT: Proficient in data modeling techniques, ETL, and ELT processes, with scripting skills in Python.
Data Warehousing & Data Lakes: Knowledgeable in data warehousing, data lakes, governance principles, and security best practices.
Big Data Technologies: Familiar with big data technologies, data management tools, and data quality measurement techniques.
Leadership & Influence: Ability to lead and influence stakeholders across various disciplines. Knowledge of the Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) domain and its unique data challenges null
