TMG supports the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division Code 80 Naval Architecture and Engineering Department (Code 80) performs research, engineering and naval architecture on surface ships, submarines, small craft, and unmanned vehicles in the areas of hull forms; propulsion; platform dynamics; hydrodynamics; and conceptual and preliminary design. Code 80 provides naval architecture and engineering services to acquisition programs, as well as direct support to the Fleet by conducting full-scale trials and solving operational problems in the hydrodynamic areas of maneuvering, seakeeping, propellers, towed devices,
and related problems.
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering, Math, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Managerial field
Required Experience
At least 1 year of experience managing, conducting, and reporting test and evaluation events

Effectively communicate across and between all levels of staff in a multi-cultural, multi-disciplined environment
Collaboration: Work closely with a cross-functional team, including engineers, scientists, and project managers, to support data acquisition objectives and address technical challenges.
Compliance and Safety: Adhere to industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols while working in testing environments and handling electronic equipment.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement, system optimization, and technology upgrades to improve data collection efficiency and accuracy.
Reporting: Prepare regular status reports and updates for project leads and management, detailing system performance, maintenance activities, and any relevant issues.
