The Nightwing High Consequence Missions (HCM) Sr. Finance Manager is responsible for: Managing all aspects of the P&L for a $0.5B business, to include forecasting, planning, workforce management, adherence and compliance and governance to NIGHTWING policies and procedures Position will also assist in the capture of new business and developing cost strategies to support successful captures Expect that the position will interface across all levels and functions within the organization to drive business performance Assist in developing effective strategies for the business to include program execution optimization as well as new business capture Strong communication with the HCM business leader and functional leadership Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Understanding and managing costs across the organization and working to maximize efficiencies to include alternative business models and concepts as appropriate. Looks at trends, and benchmarks against other NIGHTWING business and industry Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: A minimum of 12 years of relevant Finance/Accounting experience At least 5 years of experience managing a staff of employees Previous experience managing a P&L or suite of programs Current and active TS/SCI clearance Understanding of CAS and FAR Demonstrated ability to understand risk & opportunity management Working knowledge and experience in multiple disciplines within financial and operational organizations Demonstrated ability to influence upper levels of management and work across the organization to achieve results Demonstrated ability to make decisions in order to create opportunities and mitigate risk Demonstrated ability to effectively balance own time as well as available resources to address changing priorities Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build customer relations with internal and external customers Excellent oral and written communication skills Demonstrates strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy Demonstrated ability of developing a team capable to offer internally and externally focused analytical insights that drive business decisions and results Capable of working within a highly matrix organization requiring corporate and business unit teamwork Knowledge of government contract accounting Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint Process improvement champion and six sigma certification Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Knowledge of SAP and Costpoint functionality and ability to utilize the system to its fullest capabilities Required Education (including Major): Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related field. MBA, CPA and CMA are preferred. The salary range for this role is 158,000 USD - 316,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
