Job Description:
This Senior Project Specialist, program manager will support the C37 Program Team maintaining multiple projects required for the SLC Program Office; HSRs, E22s, Proposals, Action Items, Visit Certs for upcoming meetings, etc. This candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced office environment with multiple efforts in work simultaneously. Have knowledge of C37 A&B Fleet aircraft production, aircraft requirements, and project management that include directing complex program projects and ongoing administrative functions of the program initiatives while adhering to contractual obligations and subsequent reporting.
The qualified candidate must be able to:
Set goals and empower individuals to take ownership for their assignments. Experience in aircraft and system integration labs.
Assist leadership in identifying program growth opportunities in addition to facilitating capture of new opportunities with customers.
Have strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills that will facilitate in creating and maintaining a collaborative work environment which includes providing decisive and constructive feedback.
Demonstrate and insist on ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for monitoring the cost, schedule, and technical performance of program.
Assist in driving all phases of aircraft requirements and modification installation planning and execution from inception through completion.
Assist in program planning to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs.
Assist in Managing the preparation of proposals, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract.
Effectively communicates with all levels of co-workers, senior management, and customer.
Works with Functions assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas to identify areas of improvement for systems and processes.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
Preferred Additional Skills:
Active Top Secret security clearance
Microsoft Office Tools proficiency
