Overview
Responsible for the day-to-day operation and administrative activities at multiple buildings within the district. Leads Project Managers and Supervisors to ensure conformance to contract requirements. Develops and implements cost control measures and level of service standards to ensure compliance with customer specifications / contract requirements for assigned buildings. Oversees inspections, quality control measures, and the inventory control of equipment and supplies for the assigned buildings.

Job Responsibilities :
Manage project development from beginning to end
Provide technical expertise in solving building mechanical systems problems with the operations and maintenance team
Provide technical expertise in designing mechanical solutions for projects
Coordinate with the Project Architect for larger projects who will ascertain and develop the technical requirements of the project
Consult with project team on critical issues involving engineering
Relay to team any decisions made regarding project design and construction
Manage the administrative elements of a project including, cost and schedule
Define up front the project scope and deliverables in collaboration with the customer, management and stakeholders
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Liaison with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
Validate estimates of the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
Draft and submit budget baselines and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Where required, negotiate with department managers for the assistance of required personnel from within the company
Ability to manage multiple smaller projects with different clients concurrently
Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
Minimal Domestic Travel
Required Skills :
Minimum 4+ years' experience in facilities management and construction oversight
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Successful track record of conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Experience with influencing and eliciting cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
Experience with leading and championing internal teams/task forces through challenging projects
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
Desired Skills :
Project management certification (such as PMP, CAPM, Raytheon Tier Training or PgMP)
Strong familiarity with design and project management software, such as CAD and Microsoft Project
Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of construction
Experience and training in OSHA Construction Industry regulations and practices
Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Experience with Building Automation Management monitoring and controls
Educational Requirements :
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities, Construction, or related discipline
