Electrician (Oil and Gas Industry)

Adecco is currently seeking a skilled Electrician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. The Electrician will be responsible for identifying, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Essential Job Requirements:

Identify, install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and electrical faults/systems.

Read blueprints and wiring schematics.

Install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.

Communicate with customers professionally, addressing questions and complaints effectively.

Replace boards in drives, fuses, and set up PME.

Schedule horsepower issues and perform related duties as assigned.

Comply with all safety and company policies and procedures.

Track time accurately and adhere to the provided schedule, adjusting to business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Must be 18 years of age.

Experience with drives and access systems.

Extensive knowledge of electrical systems.

Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills.

Valid driver's license; ability to operate a company vehicle and meet insurability requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience in the oil and gas field.

Experience with drives and access systems.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Capable of navigating uneven, rural terrain.

May be exposed to loud noises, occupational hazards, and other outdoor elements.

Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
