Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Requirements System Engineer to join our growing MTC team! In this role you will support the development and management of MTC requirements, throughout the system lifecycle.
The US Space Force is modernizing its tactical command and control enterprise through contract award by the Missile Track Custody (MTC) program. Join our team supporting this program to deliver the next generation, multi-plane, missile track constellation capability for the DoD and its Mission Partners.
This is a mostly remote opportunity that will require around 10% of onsite support in the Boulder, CO area.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Elicit and document requirements from stakeholders through various techniques such as interviews, workshops, and document analysis.
- Analyze and prioritize requirements to ensure alignment with operational needs and project objectives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive requirements documentation including requirements traceability metrics, system specifications, System Requirements Document (SRD), JAMA database, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM).
- Manages changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
- Develop and execute plans to validate and verify requirements, ensuring they meet technical standards and operational needs.
- Maintain detailed documentation of requirements, validation processes, and outcomes.
- Leverage Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies throughout the systems engineering lifecycle to model and simulate system architectures, requirements, and interfaces.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to OPIR systems, requirements management and recommend improvements.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analysis, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, requirements analysis, or requirements management roles
- Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)
- Proficiency in using requirements management software (e.g. JIRA, JAMA, etc.)
- Experience with MBSE methodologies and tools for modeling complex systems throughout the systems engineering lifecycle
- Experience using agile framework development methods and processes
- Broad systems engineering experience including early concept development, requirements analysis, design, test and evaluation, and risk assessment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to interact effectively with and lead diverse, multidisciplinary teams, including industry and government sponsors
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- 4+ years of OPIR experience
- Advanced degree in systems engineering
- Relevant systems engineering certifications (ASEP, CSEP, ESEP)
- Active TS/SCI Clearance

Salary Range:
