This Embarkation Specialist Sr. position is located at Stone Bay, Camp Lejeune, NC, in support of the 2rd Marine Raider Battalion (2rd MRB, Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC).
Contractor shall prepare supplies and equipment for embarkation and performs various Force Deployment Planning and Execution (FDP&E) functions to support the movement of personnel, supplies, and equipment via all modes of transportation using commercial and military assets. Contractor shall be certified/familiar in Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) compatibility, transportation and storage. Responsibilities include using ICODES; SMS; JOPES; SSDM; IGC. Contractor shall be able to obtain an operators' license for non-tactical and tactical Government-owned equipment.
The contractor will be prepared to provide training, coaching, etc., to the supported customer.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: High School or GED equivalent six (6) to eight (8) years of relevant, progressive experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess current experience and expert level proficiency in Marine Corps Embarkation functions and AIS systems equivalent to that of a Marine Corps Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 0431 Logistics/Embarkation Specialist or equivalent Civil Service skill designator. Must be proficient in the use of related AIS and common MS Office Suite tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.
Essential Functions
Work will be performed inside an industrial shop type facility. Work assignments vary based on client requirements. Position could require some night and weekend work. Some travel may be required based on client requirements.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Phone use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 50 lbs. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
Equipment and Machines
General office equipment, which includes: telephone, fax machine, copier, PC/laptop, and other work related tools as required. Must be proficient in the use of common Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Attendance
Work assignments dependent on requirements by the client. It is important to be able to work at least 8 hours a day for 5 days per week (Monday through Friday). Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.

Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Grooming and dress usually business casual, but dependent on client's standards. Must not pose a safety hazard to employees working in the same general area.
