This position also requires 15-20 hours of preparation before each course, compensation for which is included in the gross amount noted in the employment offer. Job Summary/Basic Function: -The Instructor in a Concordia Language Villages Language Training Center (LTC) program is responsible for instruction and overall implementation of a language-specific iso-immersion program as guided by the Lead Instructor/Program Coordinator. This includes planning and implementation of a variety of program elements, and may also include public relations, and interaction with the support staff from the operations areas at the Language Villages. -The Instructor is responsible for implementing program elements that reflect the mission and immersion principles/methodology of Concordia Language Villages, that align with the parameters of the Concordia LTC model, and that are in accordance with the expressed needs of the LTC client. -The Instructor reports to the respective LTC Lead Instructor and to the administrative team of Concordia Language Villages as a whole. The minimum pay for 100% appointment is $1,500 per program week, plus room and board while on site. This salary includes compensation for pre-arrival planning and preparations. Airline travel or mileage expenses related to getting to the training course in Bemidji, Minnesota, will also be covered or reimbursed.
