Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Strategy and Growth, responsible for the long-term growth of the Aeronautics Systems market strategies, alignment of resources and investments to achieve key business objectives, and the development of new and evolved mission solutions for domestic and international customers has an immediate opening for a Principal Conference Event Representative (Level 3). We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our highly performing Customer Engagement team within Strategy and Growth. The Principal Conference Event Representative will be the primary point of contact for a program and can be co-located in the program spaces. This position will be located in Palmdale, California.
The Principal Conference Event Representative will work with key stakeholders across the NGC enterprise and manage the strategic preparation and logistical planning and execution for onsite engagements from initial notification to visit closeout. They are responsible for developing world-class experiences for our high-level executive onsite engagements, demonstrating Northrop Grumman's commitment to performance excellence and innovation.
The Principal Conference Event Representative should be able to conduct this job with limited supervision. No instructions needed on routine work, and general instructions given on new lines of work or special assignments. Typical duties and tasks are varied and moderately complex. The Principal Conference Event Representative should be able to resolve most questions and issues and refers complex questions to higher levels. Contacts are frequent with stakeholders and individuals representing other departments, and/or representing outside organizations. Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data on matters of moderate importance to the function of the department or which may be of sensitive nature.
Essential Responsibilities
Identifies and secures appropriate venues and support teams, develops the event flow, prepares movement plans, and conducts facility walk-throughs to ensure site readiness
Contributes and communicates logistics in all planning and preparation meetings with the Stakeholders to ensure the visit plan is aligned with overall strategic goals and objectives
Defines meeting/presentation needs and ensures closure to actions
Handles scheduling, agenda management and preparation for visits and special activities, prepares and distributes the appropriate working documents (artifacts)
Ensures participants are prepared through dry-run visit/event preparation sessions and walk-throughs
Collaborates effectively and partners across a diverse set of stakeholders and organizations across the enterprise
Familiarization with the buildings and programs at supported sites
Maintains historical online database and reporting documents in Salesforce and other server locations
Communicates visits/special activities to all stakeholders
Ability to handle physical demands, such as standing and walking for long periods
Prepare and coordinate content, tour route, and prep package
Directs, plans, and organizes internal and external business-related functions, program special activities, and VIP briefings
Coordinates, arranges, and contracts for charter ground transportation and facilities support
Orchestrates large-scale special activities, supporting highest-level company executives, international dignitaries, and government officials
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Must be able/willing to travel up to 25%
Using knowledge from relevant experience, providing innovative ideas to the team to develop ways to improve our products and processes

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 5 years' related experience as defined below OR a Master's degree and 3 years' related experience as defined below
Related experience includes experience providing customer or administrative support/engagement, project management, or similar
Active DoD Secret Clearance last investigated within 6 years or enrolled in DoD Continuous Evaluation, and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top-Secret Clearance
Active Special Program Access (SAP)
Strong oral and written communication skills; and collaboration skills
High level of organization skills and attention to detail
Basic proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Up to 25% travel to support multiple sites
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Top-Secret Security Clearance
Experience planning and executing customer visits/special activities
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Intermediate proficiency with Salesforce
Aerospace industry experience
Experience organizing and planning a detailed agenda and move plan
Experience working with all levels in an organization
Experience interfacing with customers, in particular high-level government, and military personnel (Legislators, SES, General/Flag officers)
Understanding of Northrop Grumman culture and demonstrated success working within company's organization, processes, and procedures
Salary Range: $80,600 - $121,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
