Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Staff Contracts Administrator to support the Maritime/Land Systems & Sensors Division (M/LSS) Division. This job will support multiple USG, commercial, and international customers, focusing on execution and capture activities that will drive major franchise programs. What You'll Get to Do:
Responsibilities include the following:
Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
Identify contractual risks and mitigate with appropriate contract provisions
Serve as key business advisor to the program managers on contractual and operational matters
Make decisions in a timely manner under tight deadlines and pressure
Offer guidance and work collaboratively with a multitude of organizations ranging from technical, program, finance, global supply chain, global mobility office and security for seamless contract administration
Qualifications for Staff Contract Administrator (A05):
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 13+ years of relevant directly related experience, or Master's degree and 11+ years of directly relevant experience. Will consider 17 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Strong technical acumen in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Adobe
In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS and demonstrated experience with different contract types.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to make recommendations and effectively bring projects to completion.
Must have capable & effective proposal development skills, excellent negotiation skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to travel occasionally.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions.
Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret security clearance
Experience in the Aerospace Industry
Extensive DoD Contracting experience with USG and Prime customers
NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM and/or CCCM)

Salary Range: $141,400 - $212,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
