We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Planner to join our clients team in Carlsbad, CA. This critical role ensures seamless inventory management and production alignment while addressing international shipping challenges. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of current experience in production planning, with strong expertise in inventory management, international shipping, and ERP systems such as NetSuite.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Proactively monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent shortages.
Analyze and forecast inventory needs to align with orders placed six months in advance.
Implement strategies to minimize occurrences of insufficient stock.
Production Planning:
Develop and execute production schedules that align with inventory and demand.
Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
International Shipping:
Manage all aspects of international shipping, including booking pickups and drop-offs.
Accurately complete Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and other shipping documentation.
Address and resolve issues with orders stuck in customs, ensuring timely delivery.
ERP System Management:
Use NetSuite or a similar ERP system to manage inventory, production schedules, and shipping operations.
Ensure accurate data entry and reporting to support operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of current experience in production planning or a similar role.
Strong experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is required.
Proven ability to manage and resolve inventory challenges effectively.
Expertise in international shipping, including documentation, customs processes, and logistics coordination.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $32.00 per hour
