Job Title : Business Operations Manager
Pay: $87.78 per hr
Cisco is looking for a Business Operations Manager-to support Cisco Networking's Chief of Engineering Operations organization. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Business Operations Manager will support senior engineering leaders, including SVP- and VP-level executives. The role focuses on key strategic and operational initiatives, engineering activities, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities :
Serve as part of the Operations Team supporting an SVP.
Provide operational support to an Engineering VP as needed.
Facilitate engineering activities across leadership teams.
Act as a central point of contact for PMO, Financial Operations, and Finance Leads.
Drive and lead special engineering projects or initiatives.
Plan and coordinate organizational meetings (staff, extended staff, all-hands, offsite).
Lead or participate in engineering and interlock meetings (e.g., Quarterly Quality Reviews, Project Reviews, Customer meetings).
Oversee quarterly/annual engineering planning processes.
Analyze data related to budgets, achievements, lab usage, headcount, hiring, compliance training, etc.
Track and ensure the completion of action items and deliverables for Engineering Leadership.
Skills Required
5+ years of relevant experience in engineering operations and/or project management in the high-tech industry.
Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills across organizational levels.
Proven organizational and time-management abilities.
Capability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments with high demands.
Advanced time-management and planning skills with adaptability to shifting priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships across multiple functions.
Problem-solving capabilities with an ability to influence decisions and navigate ambiguity.
Experience in project and engineering management within large engineering organizations.
Pay Details: $87.78 per hour
