This position is onsite in Fort Worth, TX. Mission Management Systems Engineer
The Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) is the Premier Vertical Lift military program in the world. Bell's FLRAA aircraft will become the Army's primary assault aircraft for the next 30 years, advancing the Army's assault capabilities. The FLRAA program is utilizing the latest in cutting edge technology to expand the United States Army's tactical advantage in future conflicts.
The Bell FLRAA team seeks the top engineering talents from around the industry to design, develop, and deliver the world's next-generation military aircraft.The Aircraft Mission Management Systems Engineer is responsible for coordinating the offboard interface of the Army mission planning station (AMPS) and the onboard mission management software development.
What you'll be doing as Aircraft Mission Management Systems Engineer:
Perform requirements management for subsystem requirements, including receiving subcontractor lower-level requirements while maintaining traceability within CameoReview quality of subcontractor requirements and provide feedbackReview subcontractor component specification models and oversee their integration into the larger weapon system modelCoordinate with other subsystems' teams to ensure interfaces are documented and updatedPerform Cameo model updates for new guidance, updated style guides, updated content, and new contentLearn and understand subsystem functionality and ensure functions satisfy subsystem requirementsManage and coordinate issues, problem reports and change requests to closure.Coordinate design changes and deliveries with Safety, Security and Certification organizations.Ensure timely delivery of systems data, systems requirements, integrated validation/verification activities, and issue resolution.

Prior work experience on a project/program with a major subcontractor/supplierUnderstands what requirements are and has a basic knowledge of derivation/decomposition and tracingUnderstands functions and how they relate to requirementsHas a basic understanding of the life cycle of a system, i.e. can name the basic steps a system goes through (concept, requirements, design, development, integration, test, production, fielding, sustainment, disposal)Has worked with a system with two or more subsystems and multiple components in at least one of those subsystems, all requiring integrationKnows SysML or UML and the ability to use CAMEOAble to communicate directly with leadership inside and outside the company.Self motivated and able to track and report performance to cost and schedule.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) What you need to be successful
Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required. Mechanical or Other Engineering degrees may be considered with applicable experience.
Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance.
At least 2 years experience (10 plus years' experience is preferred) in systems engineering working with requirements and has a basic knowledge of derivation/decomposition and tracing What we offer you in return:
