Job Description:
The team designs a wide variety of hardware items ranging from RF/Microwave electronically steered antenna arrays to high speed/high density signal processing enclosures.
Candidate is responsible for the printed circuit board layout and documentation for assemblies designed for airborne systems.
Proficient CAD skills are required, preferably with Mentor Graphics Xpedition Enterprise, Designer, Layout, Constraint Editor System, and Library Manager.
Candidate should have knowledge of multi-layer, mixed dielectric, analog, high speed digital, and RF/Microwave circuit layout.
Experience with SAP, NX 9, TeamCenter, Microsoft Office, DFM, DFA, DFT is a plus.
Candidate must be able to communicate well with Customers, Systems Engineers, Design Engineers, Planning & Production personnel.
Read and interpret block diagrams, wire diagrams, mechanical drawings and circuit schematics
Job Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. A degree in E lectrical Engineering or related technical degree at an accredited university is strongly preferred. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Experience in PCB board design.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators to test and characterize RF components and equipment
Experience generating cost & schedule plans and estimates is a bonus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with engineering team and management
