Job Description:
+ Design and implement software for real-time embedded systems. Perform design simulations and capture design specifications.
Apply principles and techniques of software development, computer engineering, electrical engineering, and mathematical analysis to daily tasking.
Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
Execution of software development process in CMMI Level 3 environment.
Develop code according to coding guidelines and division-defined software development processes.
Provide unit testing of software/firmware.
Perform software/firmware component integration.
Identify, track and repair software/firmware defects.
Support continuous improvement, process innovation and lessons learned activities.
Familiar with software emulators/debuggers/analyzers/oscilloscopes.

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Agile and Scrum.
Interest and understanding of firmware development.
Experience with flash file systems, XML, networking protocols and/or Ethernet switching.
Knowledge of wireless communications systems is highly preferred.
Knowledge of IP Networking and Wireless Networking desirable.
Ability to obtain a security clearance.
One or more of the following: C, C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, JEE, HTML5, XML, SQL, Qt, Windows, .NET, Unix, Linux, SOA, RTOS, Real-Time Controls, Wireless, Software Security, Robotics, OOA/OOD, Hadoop, Android, Embedded Systems

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $64,500 - $101,400. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
