The Alakaina Foundation Family of Companies (FOC) is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst 2 to support our government customer located in Kaua
i, Hawai'i.
Support accreditation activity efforts by coordinating with C-ISSO and Government personnel. Monitor IAVM, Patches, STIG, etc.
D ESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
Performs activities related to Certification and Accreditation (C&A) Process and other Policy for the administration and safeguarding of US and foreign Government classified and unclassified information as it pertains to networks, standalone computer systems, and data encryption.
Can accurately perform security tasks required by the 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-37, DoD 8500.1 DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process, DOD Instruction 8510.01 Risk Management Framework for DoD Systems and other Policy for the administration and safeguarding of US and foreign Government classified and unclassified information as it pertains to networks, standalone computer systems, and data encryption.
Office conditions are varied and include physical tasks such as lifting, pushing or pulling up to 10 pounds. Physical positions will include but not be limited to walking, sitting or standing for extended periods of time, crawling, kneeling, stooping or cramped working places and work requiring repeated or frequent climbing. Environment will include customer contact, extended work days, an office laboratory work space.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Possesses knowledge of DoD cybersecurity practice
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent plus ten (+10) years IT experience
or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus five (+5) years of cybersecurity experience
Three (3) years of Navy accreditation or RMF experience; Equivalent years of experience may be substituted in lieu of education.

REQUIRED SECURITY AND CLEARANCE:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Secret security clearance is required. (Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.)
