Who are you?
As our Director of Product Marketing for our flagship Zero Trust Engine product, you'll play a pivotal role helping us gain new business. You want to work on an award-winning product with a strong product-market fit, in a competitive sector. You work well with sales, operations, and engineering; collaborating closely to learn from and support their missions. You have a strong network of potential future colleagues and trusted vendors you can rely upon to produce New York Times-quality writing.
Your key responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and steer the product marketing vision and strategy for Dispel Zero Trust Engine, ensuring it aligns with overall company objectives and market opportunities.
Market and Competitive Intelligence: Lead in-depth market analysis, including customer segmentation, competitive landscape, and industry trends, to inform product positioning and marketing strategies.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Architect and oversee the execution of go-to-market plans, including messaging and positioning to maximize product adoption and revenue growth. This is done in conjunction with the Sales and Channel teams at Dispel.
Product Launch Management: Spearhead product launch initiatives, coordinating efforts across marketing, sales, product management, and other departments to ensure seamless and impactful launches.
Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with the tools and content they need to effectively communicate the unique value of Dispel Zero Trust Engine to prospective customers.
Customer Advocacy: Develop and maintain deep insights into customer needs and pain points, leveraging this knowledge to refine product offerings and marketing tactics. You'll work with Product and Operations who also interface with customers.
Analyst Relations: Maintain a consistent cadence of briefings with relevant Gartner and Forrester analysts, attended as needed by our CxOs for subject matter expertise.
Thought Leadership: Position Dispel Zero Trust Engine as a leader in the cybersecurity space by overseeing the creation of high-quality content, including white papers and webinars.
Brand Management: Ensure all product marketing initiatives align with and enhance Dispel's brand identity, reinforcing our position as a leader in zero trust solutions for cyber-physical systems.
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of product marketing strategies, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
Executive Collaboration: Work closely with the executive team to align marketing strategies with broader company goals and to report on key product marketing initiatives and outcomes.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree
10+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, with significant experience in the cybersecurity or enterprise technology sectors. Operational technology experience would be a major bonus.
Proven success in developing and leading go-to-market strategies for complex, high-tech products.
Expertise in cybersecurity principles and a deep understanding of the challenges facing cyber-physical systems.
Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
Superior communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a compelling and accessible manner. Good writing skills are a must. The author of this job description loves Oxford commas, and if you actually read this then I hope you do too.
Strong analytical abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and optimizing marketing effectiveness.
Experience working in a cross-functional environment, with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

The U.S. pay range for this position?is between $179,000 and $195,000/year with an expected Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) between $202,000 and $233,000/year (including bonus or commission). Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
